VBS 2026 will be the highlight of our kids’ summer! We will have 250+ team members in various roles serving 350+ kids!
VBS is the week of Monday, June 22 - Wednesday June 24. Team members are asked to serve 5:30 PM - 9PM those 3 days. It’s a big commitment that will make an even bigger impact on our children!
Small Group Leader: The heart and soul of VBS! Lead 8-10 kids for the night and bring the lesson to life during small group time.
Large Group Host: Lead large groups of kids from the stage! Bring the Bible story to life with a game and interactive teaching.
Games Team: Lead groups of children during the games rotation with fun and interactive games!
Crafts Team: Lead kids through hands-on craft activities that reinforce the day’s Bible lesson.
Childcare Team: Care for children ages birth - 3 years whose parents are serving at VBS!
Special Needs Buddy: Work 1:1 with children who have a variety of special needs, accompanying them throughout the evening.
Lesson Prep Team: Prepare lesson materials for use at VBS.(Note, meets in the months prior to VBS)
Decor Prep Team: Prepare the environment for use during VBS. (Meets in the months prior to VBS)
Set-Up / Tear-Down Team: Set-up the church the Sunday prior to VBS (June 21), and restores Saturday after VBS (June 27)
Snacks Team: Help prepare a snack and serves children during each VBS evening.
Check-In Team: Check-in families each night at VBS and facilitates a smooth customer service experience.
Connections Team: Create a welcoming environment and help connect families to their next step at Grace Church.
Worship Team: Lead kids in an engaging worship experience through song and dance.
Parking Team: Facilitate a smooth parking experience at the beginning and end of VBS, assisting as needed in-between.
Security Team: Maintain a safe and secure environment while practicing situational awareness throughout the building.
First Aid Team: Provide first aid for basic injuries and help triage care should major injuries occur.
Production Team: Provide an engaging atmosphere by working cameras, audio, lighting, and presentation software.
Media Team: Capture videography and photography footage for showcasing the VBS experience.
