3,500 "act of kindness cards" shared alongside care packages, spreading spreading love and encouragement throughout the community.
2,000 Handwritten Notes personally delivered, bringing a heartfelt touch of gratitude and support to those who serve and care for others..
First Responders & Community Support:
552 first responders served (police, sheriff, firefighters) across 12 stations
1,086 care packages distributed, including
370 teachers from 4 schools received appreciation gifts and notes
150 healthcare workers at UNC hospitals received essential care packages
552 police, fire, and sheriff officers reeived appreciation packages
Schools & Student Support:
4 schools revitalized with power washing, painting, and beautification
9,000+ snacks delivered to students at New Hope Elementary
A sensory path painted on the plaground at New Hope Elementary
Comunnity Beautifucation & Home Projects:
9 parks and trails cleaned, including Whippoorwill Park, American Tobacco Trail, and 6 parks in Alamance
Habitat for Humanity projects at both campuses, supporting home construction of 5 homes
50 Welcome Home boxes distributed to new home buyers in Alamance
Support for single moms: 2 homes repaired and beautified through Mother’s Helper projects
Ministry & Outreach Support:
150 homeless supply bags distributed to Open Table Ministry in Durham
Living Free Ministries, Good Samaritan Thrift Store, and Salvation Army - Volunteers sorted and organized donations for families in need
Arms of Grace Pregnancy Center - Volunteers prepared baby welcome folders and sorted clothing
Mebane Ridge Assisted Living - Cleanup, repairs, and bingo with residents
Family & Community Engagement:
Mebane Community Park Family Fun Day:
Free BBQ & coffee station
Face painting, frisbees, and corn hole for local families
Over 300 Icees and popsicles distributed to the community, offering a cool and refreshing delight for all.
Meals & Hunger Relief:
1,622+ meals provided, including
460 hot meals at Durham Rescue Mission
300 balanced meals delivered to TABLE, supporting food-insecure families
80 lunches served to SEAHS teachers
148 homemade dessert treats for families at Ronald McDonald House
76 emergency food boxes assembled for Chapel Hill Meals on Wheels
50+ meals served to first responders, teachers, and families in Alamance
