FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS BY SMALL GROUP LEADERS/HOSTS….

  1. When do groups start? Groups start the week of January 19.

  2. How long do groups last? Groups are 6 weeks long so they will end the last week of February.

  3. When do people start signing up for groups? Sundays, January 5 and 12 (and Thursdays, January 2 & 9). We ask that all leaders are available after both services on Sunday, January 5 to help people sign up for their small group.

  4. How do I register my group? If you are an approved small group leader, register your group here by Dec. 16. This will ensure that your group is in the small group catalogue. If you register before Jan. 2, your group will only be online.

  5. Why are groups called MADE STRONG? MADE STRONG is the name of our January/February 2020 campaign emphasizing health in spirit, soul, and body. These groups will be synced up with our Sunday morning services where we will help everyone step into their calling to be healthy in every part of their lives.

  6. What is the content of the Small Groups? Some of the topics that the small groups are going to cover are eating well, sleeping well, exercising, healing, finishing well and holistic health in body, mind and spirit. We will provide videos to each group along with discussion questions. All leaders have to do is play the video, ask the questions, and have the group pray for each other.

  7. May I host a group at Grace Building? Yes. Wednesdays and Thursdays are unavailable due to Grace Students and Thursday services. Just register your group and we will let you know what room is available to you at the requested day/time.

  8. How do I provide Childcare at my group? We love it when groups coordinate childcare for those with small children. We love it so much that we pick up the tab. All you have to do is contact someone from our approved childcare worker list and set up the schedule with them and they will fill out a time sheet with the Grace office. There’s other details that we will send you once you register your group.

  9. How do I get people in my group? The best way to get people into your group is to recruit through personal invites. Recruit and invite people during the three Sunday’s (and/or Thursdays) of the EXPO. Also, start personally inviting people to your group now. Contact people from previous groups. Contact people from your Dream Team. Meet new people on a Sunday morning and invite them to your group. Your inviting will make all the difference.

  10. What do I do after the Small Group EXPO? On the Monday morning following the Small Group Expo, we will take all of the sign up sheets and enter the people into the groups for you so you don't need to worry about that. From that point on you can manage your small group online here.  Please email the people who expressed interest in your group by the Wednesday following the Small Group Expo.  Starting the Thursday afternoon before the EXPO your small group can be accessed and managed online here using the same account that you use for online giving.  If you do not have an account yet, please follow the instructions in the next FAQ.

  11. How do I set up an user account so I can manage my small group online? Go to https://gcrdunc.infellowship.com/UserLogin/New and create an InFellowship account (gracelife.com giving and small group info can be accessed with this account so it's really good to have).  

    Be sure to use your name and email address that Grace Church would have on file with exact capitalization scheme so that InFellowship knows you are the same person we have in our database.  

    Once you sign in select "Your Groups". This will pull up small groups that you lead as well as small groups that you participate in.*  

    If you are the leader of a group you can update the meeting details (location, day, time) as well as add or remove group members. Please note that anyone can request to be added to your group via the online portal, but you have to "allow" them to come into your group.  

    If online signups cause your group to be full, please send an email to jodi@gracelife.com to let us know so that we can close your group to further signups.  We will automatically close groups that are full due to Sunday signups.
