+ Is this open to only members of Grace Church?
No. This is a community blood drive open to all people! Please share and spread the word to your friends and family in the area.
+ How do I sign-up?
Click the sign-up button above. Select the time that works best for your schedule. You will be prompted to create a username and password. The last day to sign-up is May 26th.
+ Do I have to fill out the questionnaire?
Yes, it is mandatory. The questionnaire must be completed on the morning of your appointment before you arrive. The questionnaire consists of yes/no questions and can take between 5-20 minutes to complete. You may fill it out once you arrive at your appointment, but this will increase the length of your appointment time.
+ What will the whole process look like when I arrive?
Please arrive 5 minutes early. Once you arrive, go to the registration table to confirm your appointment and present your photo ID. If there is a waiting period before you donate, you will wait in your car. Donation time takes between 10-15 minutes.
+ Are there age and weight parameters restrictions to donate blood?
Blood donors must be at least 16 years of age with parental consent and a photo id and all blood donators must weigh at least 110 pounds.
+ How should I prepare to donate blood?
Eat enough food and drink plenty of fluids before donating. Food and drinks will be provided by The Blood Connection if you need food or drink prior or after donating blood.
+ How often can I donate blood?
You can donate blood every 57 days.
+ How do I find my Covid-19 antibody test results?
Using your username and password, you will be able to login into your portal. Results of this test are available to you 7 days after you donate. *This is not a COVID-19 diagnostic testing. Positive test results do not confirm infection or immunity.
